Technology is moving faster than institutions. The leadership question of this decade is simple: who is governing it?
I am an AI governance advisor and digital transformation strategist with more than two decades of experience leading complex enterprise technology programs across banking, healthcare, telecommunications, insurance, and government sectors globally. But my work goes beyond deploying technology. Organizations everywhere are rushing to adopt AI. But, the real challenge is not adoption, but governance.
Deploying technology is easy. But governing its long-term impact is where leadership matters most. Throughout my career, I have led high-risk transformation initiatives that required alignment across strategy, governance, and execution. I help boards, executives, and government leaders navigate the risks and opportunities of emerging technologies.
I also founded Teatime with Toyin, a global community supporting widows rebuilding their lives. But that experience reinforced a deeper lesson. Systems must be designed with the most vulnerable in mind. If they are not, those systems will eventually fail the people they were meant to serve. The same principle applies to technology. My goal is simple: help leaders ensure the technologies shaping the future are governed intentionally, responsibly, and sustainably.
